On Monday 22 November, financial consultant Zanders will move its head office from Bussum to Utrecht. The new accommodation, Central Park, meets the latest sustainability requirements and is located right next to Utrecht Central Station.
In the early years of its existence, Zanders already worked from a Utrecht-based headquarters. From 2003, the white stately building on the Brinklaan in Bussum became the location where the consultancy firm continued to grow at a steady pace. With more and more offices abroad, Zanders developed into a major player in the area of treasury, risk and finance. Beside the Netherlands the company now has offices in Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, Sweden, the US and Japan.
The new office building is called Central Park and is located in the heart of Utrecht, right next to the central train station. It is therefore very easy and quick to reach by public transport. Central Park is both smart and sustainable. The 90-meter-high building has 22 floors with more than 28,500 square meters of office space. At a height of 45 meters, there is an indoor park with some 40 trees, 1,500 plants and a stream that ripples through to the 11th floor of the building. Zanders will be located on the 15th floor, above the indoor park, and will have a beautiful view on the entire city.
“After more than 18 years in Bussum, we are moving our headquarters to the city where we started in 1994,” says CEO and managing partner Laurens Tijdhof. “We have experienced many memorable moments in Bussum. It is therefore with mixed feelings that we are leaving this office. At the same time, we are looking forward to the new office with all its facilities, city vibes and central location in a beautiful city. It offers a new meeting place that gives us access to new talent pools due to fewer location restrictions. It also allows us to more easily introduce innovative processes to increase productivity and create an even stronger Zanders culture.”
