Zanders Welcomes Alexander Odenthal as Partner, Expanding SAP Treasury Expertise in the DACH Region

Utrecht, The Netherlands – February 10, 2026 – Zanders, the global treasury, risk, and technology consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexander Odenthal as Partner. With an extensive background in Corporate Treasury and Consulting, Alexander will strengthen Zanders’ presence in the DACH region, leveraging Zanders’ deep expertise in key areas such as SAP Treasury implementation.

Alexander previously worked at BearingPoint from 2005 to 2016 and rejoined the firm in 2019, becoming a Partner in 2021 where he led the Treasury team. During this time, he was responsible for Treasury advisory services and built a strong track record in leading treasury transformations. In between his tenures at BearingPoint, he spent two and a half years at EY, where he was responsible for Treasury within Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Germany.

Throughout his career, his primary focus has been the implementation of SAP Treasury solutions, supporting clients through complex system transformations and operational change as they modernize their SAP landscapes. Many corporates are set on developing better cash visibility, stronger risk management, and more automated treasury operations as they move toward S/4HANA. At the same time, topics like bank connectivity, in‑house banking, and improved forecasting are getting much more attention. Alexander will focus on providing leading support to navigate these changes.
