Dutch inflation accelerated to 3.7% in October from 3.4% in September, according to preliminary figures, while consumer prices rose 0.7% from the previous month. The increase in inflation well above the ECB’s 2% target causes policymakers to assess the path for interest rates.
China’s services sector expanded at its lowest pace in three months in October, with the PMI falling to 50.8 from 51.6. Activity remained above the 50 threshold separating expansion from contraction, but weaker confidence and input cost inflation at a five month high pointed to continued pressure on the economic outlook.
US job openings rose by 333,000 to 7.52 million in September, exceeding expectations of about 7.1 million and reaching their highest level in four months. Hiring also increased while layoffs declined, signalling continued resilience in the labour market ahead of upcoming employment data and further Federal Reserve policy decisions.
The 6M Euribor is unchanged at 2.99% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 3 basis points to 3.43% compared to previous business day.
