Dutch producer prices decreased in September, according to data from Statistics Netherlands released on Wednesday morning. Industry sales prices were 2.0% lower than in September 2023 and had already dropped by 0.4% in August from a year earlier.
In the U.S., inflation decreased in the third quarter, based on preliminary data from the U.S. Department of Commerce. The price index for personal consumption expenditures rose by 1.5 percent in the third quarter compared to a 2.5 percent increase in the second quarter. Excluding food and energy prices, the PCE price index increased by 2.2 percent, down from a 2.8 percent rise in the previous quarter.
In Germany, consumer prices rose more than expected in October, according to preliminary figures from Destatis, the German Federal Statistical Office. Annual inflation rose from 1.6 percent in September to 2.0 percent in October. Excluding food and energy prices, inflation in October rose by 2.9 percent year-on-year, compared to 2.7 percent in September.
The 6M Euribor decreased with 2 basis points to 2.89% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 5 basis points to 2.45% compared to previous business day.
