The unemployment rate in the Netherlands increased from 3.5% in June 2023 to 3.6% in July 2023, according to data published by Statistics Netherlands on Thursday. In July 2023, 362,000 people between the ages of 15 and 75 were unemployed.

The Dutch economy is projected to grow by 0.7% this year and by 1.4% next year. This was stated by the Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis on Thursday in its preliminary Macro Economic Outlook 2024. In 2022, the growth in the Netherlands reached 4.3%.

The central bank of Norway has further increased official interest rates. This was revealed on Thursday in the interest rate decision by the Norges Bank. The key interest rate was raised unanimously from 3.75% to 4.00%. The Norwegian krone increased by 0.3% against the euro after the release of the interest rate decision, reaching 0.087.

The 6M Euribor increased with 2 basis points to 3.96% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 5 basis points to 3.30% compared to previous business day.
