In July, Dutch house prices dropped on a yearly basis just as much as they did in June, as reported by the Statistics Netherlands on Tuesday. Prices in July were 5.5% lower than the previous year, just like in June. In May, the decline was slightly sharper at 5.6%.
On Monday, the price of a barrel of crude oil closed lower, continuing the downward trend from last week. The September futures contract for a barrel of West Texas Intermediate crude oil concluded Monday’s trading session 0.7% lower at USD 80.72 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
On Monday evening, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond increased to 4.35%, a level not seen since 2007. The shorter-term 2-year US Treasury bond is yielding 5%.
The 6M Euribor is unchanged at 3.94% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 6 basis points to 3.29% compared to previous business day.
