The price of oil dropped significantly on Monday on an Easter Monday with little trading. The price of a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) decreased by 4.6% to USD 58.65. Before Easter, WTI was still increasing, although OPEC and its allies decided on Thursday to gradually increase production in the coming months.

In the United States, factory orders unexpectedly decreased in February. The figures from the US government show that they decreased by 0.8% on a monthly basis. In January, there was still an increase of 2.7% on a monthly basis.

The Chinese services sector increased in March. The index for the sector by Markit Economics increased from 51.5 in February to 54.3 in March. Figures from the Chinese government last Wednesday also indicated an acceleration of growth for the sector. However, it increased more slowly than Markit’s index, namely from 50.6 to 51.9.

The 6M Euribor increased with 1 basis point to -0.51% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap decreased with 3 basis points to 0.04% compared to previous business day.
