Producer prices in Germany increased considerably in August. Figures from Destatis, the German statistical office, indicate that producer prices increased 12.0% on an annual basis. In July, prices increased by 10.4% on an annual basis. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 1.5% in August.

The United States will reopen its borders in November to air travellers, fully vaccinated against COVID-19, from 33 countries. The White House reported that this includes China, India, Brazil and most of Europe. This eases the travel restrictions related to the pandemic that went into effect in the begin of 2020.

Confidence among American homebuilders increased slightly in September, according to data from the National Association of Home Builders. The NAHB housing index came in at 76 for September, following levels of 75 in August and 80 in July. An index above 50 indicates sales conditions to be positively considered by homebuilders.

The 6M Euribor decreased with 1 basis point to -0.53% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap decreased with 2 basis points to 0.07% compared to previous business day.
