The Japanese economy showed growth in the second quarter. Figures from the Japanese government show that the gross domestic product increased by 0.3% on a quarterly basis in the second quarter. On an annual basis, the increase amounted to 1.3%. In the first quarter, Japanese GDP decreased by 3.9% on an annual basis.

Chinese industrial production increased further in July, but again at a slower pace. Figures from the Chinese government show that production increased by 6.4% in July in comparison to the previous month after an increase of 8.3% in June. In May, the increase was 8.8% and in April 9.8%. The increase in July is significantly lower than the expected increase of 7.8%.

British unemployment decreased slightly in the second quarter, according to figures from the British Office of National Statistics (ONS). The unemployment rate, which is seasonally adjusted, was 4.7% in the second quarter. In the first quarter it was 4.9%.

The 6M Euribor is unchanged at -0.53% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap is unchanged at -0.10% compared to previous business day.
