On Wednesday, the British Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced that the industrial production of Britain increased in August 2015. This performance was supported by improvement in the production of cars and gas. The production increased by 1% on a monthly basis and 1.9% on a yearly basis. Analysts were expecting an increase of 0.3% in the month August.
On Wednesday, the European Central Bank (ECB) has lowered the ceiling for Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA). The ECB lowered the ceiling with EUR 1 billion to an amount of EUR 87.9 billion. The reduced ceiling shows an improvement of the liquidity of Greek banks and the stabilization of savings.
On Thursday, Statistics Netherlands (CBS) announced that the inflation in the Netherlands decreased. The inflation decrease from 0.8% in August 2015 to 0.6% in September 2015, compared to the previous year. This decrease was mainly caused by the decreasing oil prices in September 2015.
The 6M Euribor remained unchanged at 0.03%. The 10Y Swap decreased with 4 basis points to 0.95%.
