The Chinese industry no longer contracted in September, according to preliminary figures from Markit. The purchasing managers index for Chinese industry increased from 49.2 in August to 50.0 in September.
The average WOZ-property value of a house in the Netherlands on 1 January 2021 was EUR 290,000. This is 7.0% more than a year earlier, and the highest value ever. Statistics Netherlands reported the price development on the basis of new figures. However, the average property value increased less rapidly than in the previous year. The average property value is considerably lower than the average house price, as that is determined on the basis of all sold homes.
Output prices of the Dutch manufacturing industry were on average 14.9% higher in August 2021 than in August 2020. This was reported Thursday by figures from Statistics Netherlands. One month earlier, the price increase was 13.9%. The development of sales prices in the industry is closely related to the development of crude oil prices. Products of the petroleum industry were 52.1% more expensive in August 2021 than in August 2020.
