World trade volume increased by 0.5% on a monthly basis in June, according to the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. With this limited growth, e.g. stabilization, the strong recovery of global trade seems to have come to an end.

In half of the Dutch regions, the size of the economy is again larger than before the corona crisis. In 12 of the 52 economic regions surveyed by Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the economy in the second quarter of this year was not yet at the level of 2019. Especially in regions where tourism, aviation, hospitality and culture play an important role, the economy is still smaller than before the corona crisis.

Consumer confidence in Germany decreased significantly in September. This was shown by recent measurements by research bureau GfK, which measures one month in advance. The consumer confidence index now reported 1.2 points negative compared 0.4 negative in August.

The 6M Euribor is unchanged at -0.53% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 4 basis points to -0.07% compared to previous business day.
