Unemployment in the Netherlands increased slightly in August. This was reported Thursday by figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS). In August, CBS counted 301,000 unemployed, equals 3.2% of the labour force. In July the unemployment rate was still 3.1%.

Industrial production in the United States increased at a lower pace in August than in the previous month. This was reported by figures released by the US Federal Reserve yesterday. The index for production increased by 0.4% in August, following an increase of 0.8% in July.

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) saw the growth of the global economy decrease n in the second quarter of this year (on a quarterly basis). This was announced by the OECD yesterday. In the first quarter of 2021, the size of the world economy increased by 0.9%, versus just 0.4% in the second quarter. The Chinese economy grew by 1.3% in the second quarter, compared to 0.4% in the first quarter.

The 6M Euribor is unchanged at -0.52% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 3 basis points to 0.05% compared to previous business day.
