Consumer prices in the United States increased by 0.5 percent in July 2021 compared to June 2021. This follows from figures published by the US Department of Labor on Wednesday. The increase is in line with economists’ expectations. On an annual basis, inflation was 5.4 percent in July 2021.

In the United Kingdom, industrial production decreased by 0.7 percent in June 2021 compared to May 2021. This was published by the British Office for National Statistics on Thursday. Economists expected a decline of 0.1 percent in advance.

The British economy did grow in the second quarter of 2021. An initial estimate by the British Office for National Statistics shows that the economy grew by 4.8 percent on a quarterly basis. In the first quarter of 2021 the economy contracted 1.6 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.

The 6M Euribor is unchanged at -0.53% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap decreased with 1 basis point to -0.10% compared to previous business day.
