Economic activity in the United States is growing slightly faster in February compared to last month. This is mainly due to the services sector, for example catering and retail, which is supported by the partial easing of lockdown measures. The Markit indicator that measures activity in the manufacturing and services sector has increased slightly this month to a level of 58.8, which is the highest level in six years and thus indicates strong growth of the US economy.

The Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and the Land Registry report that last January houses were on average 9.3 percent more expensive than in the same month a year earlier. This is the highest growth in the Netherlands since November 2018. At the end of 2019, price increases seemed to slow down somewhat, but since then have picked up again.

The total market value of Bitcoins has increased to more than 1 trillion dollars. Bitcoin has been on the rise for some time now, since the beginning of this year, the market value of Bitcoin has already increased with more than 415 billion dollars. On Friday, the price of a Bitcoin broke through the 53,000 USD mark.

The 6M Euribor is unchanged at -0.52% compared to previous business day. The 10Y Swap increased with 4 basis points to 0.02% compared to previous business day.
